Exactly one week and nine hours ago, I finished not only fifth grade, but elementary school too. The last day of school was a half day, and was really fun. First, I got to school and trained the incoming safety patrols. Next, I went to Jewish Studies and got my yearbook and had my classmates and Hebrew teacher sign it. I really loved my yearbook this year because since we have twenty-first century learning, it had an IPad on the cover. It had M.J.G.D.S.’s icon, the marlin on it, and it said 3:45, school’s out!  Then I went to General Studies class and I had  Mrs. Zavon sign my yearbook. After that, all the classes came down to the gym to sign each others yearbooks. Fifth, I went to carpool and my mom picked my friend and I up from school, and took us to Barbie’s house for a pool party. At Barbie’s house we went swimming, had pizza for lunch, and made s’mores  on a fire. The s’mores tasted really good! After the s’mores we went swimming some more, and then got out to see Barbie’s mom surprise us with a vanilla cake with the words congratulation fifth grade on it. After the cake, we waited for our families to pick us up. I really loved this year and I learned a lot. I will miss all my teachers and classmates over the summer and, next year in sixth grade!
