04 NovShabbat

Shabbat is a Jewish Holiday celebrated every Friday. Shabbat starts on Friday Sundown and ends on Saturday Sundown. I cannot go on my blog during Shabbat because it is the day of rest. When the world was created there was work for six days and then on the seventh day there was rest. The seventh day was Shabbat. On Shabbat I like to eat Challah. Challah is a braided loaf of bread. I also light the Shabbat candles and say the Kiddush. Shabbat Shalom!

Mmmmm…yummy! What a beautiful and delicious-looking challah. Why do we eat challah on Shabbat?

I agree with Mrs. H. I love Challah.
