“If you would not be forgotten as soon as you are dead and rotten, either write things worth reading or do things worth writing.”~B. Franklin
We have not forgotten Benjamin Franklin. In the quote above Benjamin Franklin said to write things worth reading or do things worth writing. He ended up doing both. Benjamin Franklin had a lot of hobbies.
Benjamin Franklin invented stuff, from libraries to lightning rods. He was born in Boston Massachusetts, January-17-1706 (He has the same birthday as my dad.) and died on April-17-1790. He contributed important inventions and ideas to the colonies. For example, he created the first volunteer fire departments. He was so important in American history becuase he was one of the founding fathers of United States of America.
If he saw today’s technology he would probably feel proud and fascinated. He would probably like the computer and internet best because he was a writer and he could read other people’s writing and have a blog of his own (Like the one you’re reading now).

Lily, this is excellent. I love the way your started your post with a quote from Franklin.
Also, your thoughts about the computer and the internet are wonderful. I agree with you, Franklin would have loved to have the ability to write and connect with people quickly.
