The Same or Different?

Posted by on February 20, 2014

This week in math, we learned a lot of different skills. It was a crammed week because of Kaleidoscope Day. Kaleidoscope day is a day where we celebrate the arts like drama, arts and crafts, and music. Anyways, the main skill that we learned this week was was measuring shapes and seeing if they had a similar length and width. It was a little confusing at first, but you have to pick on a pattern to get it. For instance, you may have to measure it by multiplication, addition, division, or subtraction. You know, like the basics. Once you get that hang of it, the skill is very easy though and it can be useful when you have trouble measuring something. Math was very eventful this week and I hope that it is a again next week. I have learned a lot this week, but above all, I have learned how to measure in different ways.
