The Adventures of Tom Sawyer

Posted by on October 10, 2013

I just finished reading The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.  It was a really good book, but it was advanced. The author of this book is called Mark Twain. He is a very good writer and he has made other books besides this one. What is your favorite book by Mark Twain?

If I could give this book a rating it would be five stars because there is so much action and suspense. Sometimes, you can’t understand what Tom is saying because he is speaking in a southern accent, but you get into it after a while. All young and old people would enjoy this book because it makes you think about when you were a boy and the book makes you think about what is to come.

Tom Sawyer is a boy that seems to always be getting himself in trouble. He goes to an island with his friends Huckleberry Finn and Joe Harper and they pretend to become pirates. When all three of the come back, they are presumed dead and arrive at their on funeral. Tom finds treasure with his friend, Huckleberry Finn, but there are many obstacles to await him and his friend. If they can survive they will have glory and riches, but there could also be death. Find out in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer!
