Recently, I finished reading a book called The Adventures of Rabbi Harvey. This book is Jewish Folklore and about a Rabbi who lives in the town of Elk Springs, Colorado. Rabbi Harvey gives advice to the citizens in Elk spring. In one of the stories in this book, he meets up with his rival named Big Milt Wasserman. Big Milt came to Elk spring before Rabbi Harvey and he was an outlaw. Then, Rabbi Harvey came along and outsmarted Big Milt. Big milt had to leave and Rabbi Harvey became the new Rabbi in town. There is another story in this book about a bad bubbe. Bubbe in yiddish means grandma. Anyway this bubbe owns an inn and sometimes she steals money from the people staying at the inn. Rabbi Harvey come and makes her give back the money. Those are only a few sneak peeks at the book. If you want to hear more, read The Adventures of Rabbi Harvey by Steve Sheinken.
