My Three Most Favorite 4th Grade Memories

Posted by on June 1, 2012

Let me tell you my three most favorite memories from 4th grade.

My first favorite memory was going to Savannah. In Savannah we learned about the Civil War. We went to the visitors center where my class saw a short video about Savannah and how it was made. Then, we went to the First African American Baptist Church. We learned about the underground railroad and how it was connected to the church. The underground railroad helped black people escape to the North during the Civil War. Next, we went to City market and ate lunch there. We also got to buy things there. I bought a big lemonade. After that, our class drove to Fort Jackson where we learned how people during the Civil War lived. We also learned flag signals that the Confederate soldiers used during the war. We were going to go to the Mikvah Temple, but it started hailing. The Savannah trip one of my three most favorite memories in 4th grade because I loved when we went to Fort Jackson it was very fun.

My second favorite memory was the day that the power went out. The second that Jake Gould told me that the power went out in school and that there would be no school that day, I felt a jolt of happiness. I was not looking forward to going to school that day and I wished that I wouldn’t have to got to school and my wish came true. That was one of my three most favorite memories in 4th grade because I did not want to go to school that day and I got my wish.

My third favorite memory was getting my blog. At first, I thought it would be kind of boring to have a blog, but a few days later I thought that it was very fun. You will have a lot more assignments on your blog next year so get ready! Getting my blog was on of my three most favorite memories in 4th grade because I loved writing on my blog.
