Dress Code

Kipot
Boys are required to supply their own Kipa or Yarmulke each day. 
Boys MUST BE WEARING a Kipa upon entering the building and must wear one throughout the day.

Uniforms
Elementary school students (K-5) are required to wear a school uniform Monday through Thurday, and on Friday, students wear their own Shabbat clothing. The purpose of the dress code is to present an attractive appearance, in addition to promoting school pride and respect.  K-5 uniforms consists of a polo shirt in white, navy or forest green with embroidered MJGDS logo.  Bottoms should be solid navy or khaki.  All choices are found on the Landsend website once you select the Martin J Gottlieb Day School.  Backless shoes, crocs or sandals are strictly prohibited.

Middle School P.E.

The P.E. uniform consists of a navy t-shirt and navy athletic shorts or pants.  The navy essential t-shirt should have the Marlins logo.

Outerwear

Sweartshirts and sweaters must have a MJGDS logo if worn over the school uniform.  All students must look like they are part of the Martin J. Gottlieb Day School during school hours.
