In class, we have been writing our essays and researching for our essays. Our essays are for our own, chosen topics. We wrote the opening paragraph, the first two paragraphs for our essay, and we completed the works cited page. My topic is why homework should be banned, and believe it or not, there are many facts supporting my claim that it should! by: Jack

This week we have been working on our argument essays. What we’ve had to do is pick a topic, then research the topic, take notes from websites and then saved the links, next we started writing, finally we did our citations/works cited page. Our class is done with our first two paragraphs and our works cited page. By doing this we are learning how to write a good argument essay thanks to our great teacher, Mrs. Teitelbaum. by: Josh

We all finished our research argument essays. We are going to start the book The Sunflower some time next week.  We voted on new novels to start after our New York trip.  We started practicing for our ITBS test too.  We are still working on our class read aloud After.

Many of the 7th and 8th graders went to an orchard to pick several types of fruit including grapefruits, lemons, oranges, and kumquats. After picking the fruits, they brought them all to the Sulzbacher Center. The pictures are all showing their mitzvah for the week.
