Congratulations to the A-Z Award Winners!

This year students participated in the A to Z Reading Challenge which began on June 9 and was completed on May 14.  Students read through the alphabet by book title or author’s name. There were four different challenges: bronze, silver, gold, and platinum–each required a certain minimum number of books depending on grade level. Students earned certificates, medals, or trophies for their reading efforts.

A Special Congratulations to Ayden Israel, Griffith Werwa, Zoe Mail, and Benjamin Chafetz for going above and beyond the PLATINUM award; they each read triple the alphabet for a special classroom recognition~ the DIAMOND award!

Another special recognition to Ayden Israel for reading the most books in the entire middle school.  (over 200 for the year)
