This year students participated in the A to Z Reading Challenge which began on June 9 and was completed on May 14. Students read through the alphabet by book title or author’s name. There were four different challenges: bronze, silver, gold, and platinum–each required a certain minimum number of books depending on grade level. Students earned certificates, medals, or trophies for their reading efforts.
