What a great first week in Gan!
This week we concentrated on tefillot (prayers) and our Hebrew names.
We begin each class by singing Modeh Ani, Ma Tovu, the Shema and Adon Olam. As the year goes on we will add additional prayers.
We sang, danced, and created crafts with our Hebrew names. Hopefully you all enjoyed the decorated door hanger that came home yesterday with each child’s Hebrew name.
Next week we will focus on brachot (blessings) over food. We will have hands (and mouth) on lessons…sounds delicious doesn’t it?!
