Homework for the Week of May 14-18

MONDAY:

Math work book p.125 on dividing decimals.

Answer questions about the Civil War on blog. (listed below)

Create a Wordly Wise  slide for your number which includes the word, synonym, antonym, your own sentence, illustration, and the definition. (extra credit if you do any of the last 4 words).  DUE WEDNESDAY

NO SPELLING TEST THIS WEEK

TUESDAY:

Work on essays; finish all 5 paragraphs. (have ready to conference with me by Friday)

Wordly Wise  sections A, B & C.

Math WB p.129-130

WEDNESDAY:

Be at school at 6:45 AM tomorrow; the bus leaves PROMPTLY at 7:00 and will not wait.

Bring water for AM, lunch, and drive home.

If you bring electronic devices they will be your responsibility.

Pack a dairy breakfast to eat on the bus;  and bring a dairy lunch and snacks; NO FOOD CAN BE PURCHASED THERE.

Bring lots of water in containers with RECLOSABLE lids; bring a sweater for the bus and a poncho in case of rain.

  1. The dewey decimal system is books on library shelves in a specific and repeatable order that makes it easy to find any book and return it to its proper place.
