50th Anniversary Alumni interviews

Kitah Gimmel is excited about our school’s 50th anniversary.  We have decided to interview alumni to see what our school was like when they were students at SSDS.  Each student picked one alumni and we came up with 10 basic questions.  Here are some highlights:

First interview:  Ariella interviewed Karen G. (Morah Ilana’s daughter).  Karen’s memories of our school include the Mother’s Day play, Israeli dancing, Annie Mae in the kitchen and riding the bus when the school was located on 3rd and Silver.

Next, Julia interviewed Rachel W. (Morah Liat’s daughter).  Rachel’s favorite elementary school teacher was Mrs. Rogo.  Rachel remembers when Mrs. Rogo was being silly and poured water on the students’ heads.
