Today we started to read William’s House in class. I always wanted to live in a log cabin just like William’s House. If I had a chance to go back to 1637, I would build a cozy, log cabin by a river. If you had a chance for one year to go back to 1637 and live in a cabin just like William, would you go ? Or would you choose to stay in 2011 in your home? Why or why not?

I would stay in the 2011′s because life is going to be hard because I would be working when I was about 2-3 years old and won’t go to school only if I’m lucky. I might get bored because there wouldn’t be any video games. This story took place in the past .The diffrence between 2011 and 1637 is 374 years. There are about seven presidents born in a log cabin but the first one is Andrew Jackson.
I would live in a log cabin.
If I had a chance to go back in time to 1637, I would choose NOT to go because there were no beds for the kids. They had to sleep on the table. I definitely don’t want to do that! There was NO electricity, electronics, running water, or any foods that I like to eat.
This story took place in the past. It was 374 years ago.
Abraham Lincoln is the president that was born in a log cabin.
I would like to go to the past during 1637 but I still want to stay in the year 2011 because I would not like sleeping on the table, the electronics weren’t as challenge as for now, and today has more tools and supplies and other useful things back then they didn’t have the supplies or tools we have right now. By the way I think William’s house was a really good example to show what it was like in the past and how they did different things then they do right now. Like they had to use there hands to eat but they were still polite to use a napkin.
