February Changes

Dear Parents, Have your student show you the map on the third grade blog and they will show you who has read our blog. In February there will be some changes since we will be starting our third semester. Today, we started Wordly Wise, and our tests which will  just be on the definitions will be on Fridays. Spelling tests will move to Thursday, so we do not have both tests on the same day. Since, we are almost done with our video on quality commenting,  we must put into practice what we teach. For a grammar grade,  the children must leave a comment on the blog. The next day, we will check the comment for punctuation, spelling, complete sentences and decide if it is a quality comment. This is a wonderful teaching tool for grammar, writing, and communication.
