Did you know that ice was melting in Seminole Swamp today? Our prediction was that the temperature would go down in our thermometers if we added ice to our cups. Well, we learned more WHY our experiment did not work! Why didn’t our temperatures go down at least by 10 degrees? What did we do wrong? You can also try this experiment at home tonight. If you can comment on my blog, I will give you a surprise in class. Don’t forget we have a spelling quiz on the next four spelling words (5,6,7,and 8) and our Sukkahs are due Wednesday.

You left off the part where we should have left the thermometer in the ice water & you said that we have to do the project again.
Jamie, you are right!
The experiment did not work because when you take the ice out and put it on your desk it melted. So the temperatures could not go down.
Zachary, you are right on!
