Trattoria..Momma Mia!! May 13th

Team Rogo drives back to Lodz  to eat dinner together with the Pollak family.  we have to drop off baby Frankie at his home, so his grandmother can babysit. I am glad that I don’t have to stay home with Frankie, even though the Pollak family live in a high rise apartment. It is a big building that was built by the Communists very long time ago, and Mrs. Rogo does not think it is too pretty.

Simon and Judy take us to Trattoria, which is an Italian restaurant in Poland. The pizza is excellent and so is the spaghetti! When we are eating dinner, Judi tells us that she can read and speak fluent Yiddish, although she is not Jewish at all. Her name is really Yahuda, which means Jewish girl . Mrs. Rogo thinks that one of her ancestors were for sure Jewish, but Judi doesn’t know that. Judi is very excited to have posters that Seminol Swamp created in order to, “Never Forget.”
