What a week we had! As I hope your children have already shared with you, we had a special, surprise visit from Blazin’ Reptiles on Friday! The visit brought to life our research reports! Please enjoy this fun slideshow.

In Mrs. Kagan’s class this week, we began a unit of study called “Dragons – Real or a Myth?” This ties nicely into our Science/Reading/Wordly Wise lessons on reptiles, especially the Komodo Dragon!
Wordly Wise Blogger (Nahila) – “In Wordly Wise this week, we are on Lesson 13! We are almost done with the book. My favorite W.W. word is scholar. Wordly Wise is a great use of technology. I love the W.W. writing on the window.”
Grammar Blogger (Abigail) – “We are reading ‘A Verb for Herb.’ Now we are naming verbs from Wordly Wise and Spelling. Spelling and Wordly Wise go together.”
In P.E. class, we had fun swimming!
Our Mystery Reader on Friday read us a great book, and then gave us each a pencil, an eraser, and a yummy treat!
It’s hard to believe that this will be our last full week of school!
