Hello Parents,
Last week was another short, but wonderful week! On Monday in Jewish Studies, we really enjoyed going on the Sukkah Hop! At the first sukkah we visited, Miss Stein read the story Tikvah Means Hope.
At the second sukkah, we each made an edible sukkah using graham crackers, icing, and sprinkles!
At the third sukkah, we had a fun scavenger hunt where we found many symbols of Sukkot.
We also enjoyed celebrating Sukkot with some unexpected creatures!
We would like to thank Morah Rivka and Morah Mazal for all of their hard work, the hosts of the lovely sukkahs, Mrs. Garber for these great pictures, and the parent drivers for such a wonderful experience!
On Tuesday in Jewish Studies, we shook the lulav and etrog, and learned about their meanings with Mr. Mitzmacher and Morah Rivka.

In General Studies, we also had a busy week. We enjoyed the Beating of the Willows tradition.
We also celebrated a special birthday!
Red Ribbon Week begins tomorrow! It will be a fun week filled with activities and health-related topics. Here is the schedule of spirited events:
Monday: Wear a red shirt with your uniform pants or shorts.
Tuesday: Wear a fun hat!
Wednesday: Wear pajamas!
Thursday: Wear your clothes backwards!
Please bring any final Box Tops that you’ve collected into school tomorrow. We will be counting them and turning them into the office.
Toda!
