This week we had Mrs. Kagan and started writing An Unfinished Story about a boy who had to make a choice about a contest that he entered. We also reviewed our 15 lessons, on Wordly Wise. We played hangman, matching, and used flashcards to help review all of our 150 words. In Math, we started a new lesson. We are now learning about telling time, data, and graphs. In Spelling, we are on our last lesson in our book but we are not through with Spelling. You will have more words on the Spelling Blog. In Science, we learned about different types of whales. We compared and contrasted the Killer, Beluga, Humpback, and Sperm Whales. At P.E. we had a lot of fun at swimming. Look at our pictures.
We also talked about how to be respectful in the boy’s locker room.
We celebrated two birthdays in class this week. Monday was for Eliana and on Wednesday was for Griffith. Griffith’s mom was also our Mystery Reader.

We had Mrs. Paul on Thursday and Friday because Mrs. Bernard went to University of Central Florida for her son’s orientation.
