We are learning SO much Torah in Kitah Bet this year. In our study of the Book of Bereshit we have studied all of Chapter One. We learned that God created with WORDS. We have learned what God created each day. When we return from the break we will continue with Chapter 2.
This Shabbat we will complete the Book of Bereshit in shul. Over the break we will read the first two portions of the Book of Shemot. We will be sending home My Weekly Sidra and ask you to review THREE portions, VaY’Chi, Shmot and Va’era over the break.
Our Hebrew reading skills continue to improve. We are reading every day!
When we return after the break we will begin our study of the holiday Tu B’Shvat (the birthday of the trees.) We will be integrating our study with the general study teachers science unit on plants and trees.
