Kitah Bet Loved Making Delicious Honey Cakes

We made honey cakes for Rosh Hashanah. We eat foods with honey for a sweet new year. Honey cakes are yummy-yummy.

To bake honey cakes you need: 3 eggs, a cup of tea, one and a half cups of honey, three-fourths of a cup of sugar, one and a half cups of flour,  a half teaspoon of baking powder and three-fourths of a cup of oil. You have to stir everything together and put the batter in the cake pans. First you have to grease the pans. Then you bake them at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes (for the small cakes. If you bake a large honey cake, it should bake for about 45 minutes.)

We want to say todah to the eemas and abbas who came to join us. We felt really happy about making the honey cakes! We wish everyone a Shana Tovah U’metukah.
