First Grade – Kitah Alef

Ms. Lewis and Morah Rachel

About Your Teachers

My name is Pamela Lewis.  I just graduated from University of North Florida.  This is my first year of teaching and I am beyond excited!  I have a brother, Steven, who is three years younger than me.  I have a pet snake named Ziggy.  My favorite color is green.  During my spare time I love to go swimming, watch criminal shows, and enjoy family time.

Robin Morris, a native of Denver, Colorado, is a graduate of Tulane University and Spertus College of Judaica.  She has been teaching at the Martin J. Gottlieb Day School for 35 years.  She is a wife, a mother of 3 and a proud grandmother.

We both feel blessed to have the assistance of Marissa Tolisano and Hanna Bendit in our classrooms.

Awesome job on the butterfly book! Very cool that even though you guys are in Florida, and I’m in Massachusetts I could still read your book on-line. I teach at a day school called The Rashi School. In fourth grade we read a book called “Dear Mr. Henshaw.” In that book, the main character goes into a park at one point and sees hundreds of Monarch butterflies on their migration to Mexico.

    Keep up the great work!

    Ms. Lewis and Ms. Morris,

I so enjoy reading the blog everyday. We live in Pennsylvania and its wonderful to read about all the things Madelyn is learning. We then talk about her week at school on the weekends.
Thank you for keeping us connected!
    Awesome job

My class has enjoyed your butterfly book. We are going to make a book based on our study of local pond life here in North Carolina. We would like to know what app you used to create the beautiful pictures that the students used to illustrate the book.

    Thanks!
